Everything you need for a Great Holiday
Airlie Cove Resort and Van Park features many activities and facilities all in a lush, tropical setting. Airlie Cove’s restaurant, the Cook House, allows guests to dine on-site with a comprehensive dinner menu (seasonal). If guests prefer their own culinary skills, there are two camp kitchens with all conveniences including refrigerator, microwave, toaster, hotplates, kettles, sink and television, and there is also a BBQ gazebo, all of which are fully under cover.
The large, centrally located amenities and laundry block ensures every convenience is catered for. Airlie Cove Resort and Van Park also has car washing facilities as well as storage for caravans, cars or boats whilst guests are away cruising or staying on one of the Whitsunday Islands. Choose to wash off the day's adrenalin in the large freeform natural rock landscaped swimming pool, featuring a slide and spa, or for the more energetic, thrash it out on the full-size floodlit tennis court while the children splash in their own separate pool or play in the modern playground.
Every morning at 8.00am, the staff feed the Rainbow Lorikeets at the bird feeding stand near the pool, giving guests the opportunity to feed the bird themselves and get up close to nature. Airlie Cove has a tour booking office that sells all local tours and activities, open from 7.00am to 7.00pm, allowing guests to book their tours that morning upon checking the day’s weather or on return from day trips that evening. Other facilities include scooter hire, mini market, TV and video room as well as Internet kiosks and wireless access throughout the park.
